What changed when a report finally described the whole child. - [A Story of Perseverance, Triumph & Admiration](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/a-story-of-perseverance-triumph-and-admiration.md): Is dyslexia, a genetic trait, intertwined with grit? A portrait of Richard Terry-Lloyd — who did not finish a full book until he was thirty-five, and has read one a week ever since. - [A Look Into Thriving Dyslexics](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/a-look-into-thriving-dyslexics.md): A 20-year study asked what makes a dyslexic child thrive in adulthood. Identification is where everything else starts. - [Dyslexia and Accommodations](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/dyslexia-and-accommodations.md): If we build a ramp for a wheelchair, we can accept ear reading. On Ben Foss, the Shaywitz research, and the tools that level the playing field. - [Dyslexia & Temperament](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/dyslexia-and-temperament.md): The extroverted dyslexic child is misread as lazy. The introverted one is not read at all. Both need us to look past the noise, and the silence. - [A Letter to Our Children’s Teachers](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/a-letter-to-our-childrens-teachers.md): Written to educators: dyslexia is as irrefutable as a broken arm, and the teacher who says the word out loud changes what a family is able to do next. - [A Mother’s Journey](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/a-mothers-journey.md): A letter from a mother of a fourth grader — tutors twice a week, an IEP she is not sure is working, and the honest admission that there is simply too much. - [Expect the Unexpected](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/expect-the-unexpected.md): Preparation does not prevent the hard first week of school — but it is what makes the hard week recoverable. - [A Letter to Friends](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/blog/a-letter-to-friends.md): The first letter — written at the start of a school year, to parents at the beginning of their journey with a dyslexia diagnosis. ## Optional - [RSS feed of the letters](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/rss.xml) - [Sitemap](https://main--klimbconsulting.netlify.app/sitemap.xml)
